Christopher Jackson was born on the 4th of September, 1992 at Soldier’s Memorial Hospital in Orillia, Ontario. Christopher was the second child of Chris Jackson and Sherry Blevins, along with their daughter Eliza. Christopher was a joy to everyone around him, and he loved playing jokes on everyone. He loved to make people laugh. Some of his favourite people to impersonate were Adam Sandler and Bubbles from Trailer Park Boys.

In Spring of 2003, Christopher started to complain of double vision and nausea. He went to many doctors, including an eye doctor, all of whom could not figure out what was wrong with him. Finally, he received an MRI that showed that Christopher had a malignant tumour in his brain. The tumour was inoperable, and was diagnosed as brainstem glioma. After a hectic week in Toronto at the Delta Chelsea Hotel, full of appointments and radiation, Christopher and his family settled into the Ronald MacDonald House to stay for the duration of his radiation treatments. While there, the family met some amazing people, who they would remember forever. They returned home in June. By November 2003, Christopher began to get sicker and sicker. On March 1st 2004, he passed away.

Christopher was an inspiration to all. His strength during his fight against cancer was amazing. Even though he was in pain, and felt sick a lot, he always had a smile for everyone, and a funny story to tell. His family will always remember the kindness that was shown to them during this hard time. Though he has passed on, we will remember Christopher forever. Our love for him will never die, and a day will never go by that we don’t think of him in some way. We will always have our memories, even though we don’t have the chance to make new ones.
